Picton’s tennis community is set for a major boost following the announcement that the Picton Tennis Courts will now be professionally managed by Picton Tennis Academy.

The new management arrangement will be led by Stewart Whicker alongside Tennis Academy Manager Olan Faiek, with a focus on expanding participation and strengthening player development opportunities across Picton and the broader South West Sydney region.

The academy will work closely with Alison Radford and the committee of the Picton Tennis Association to further grow the sport locally and create greater opportunities for players of all ages and skill levels.

The initiative is expected to deliver a more structured and professionally managed tennis environment, catering to beginners, junior athletes, adult players, families, social participants and competitive competitors alike.

Representatives from the academy said the goal is to create an inclusive and welcoming tennis community while helping to increase participation in the sport throughout the region.
