Badminton Geelong is celebrating a major milestone in 2026, marking 80 years of badminton in the Geelong community.

To mark the occasion, Badminton Geelong will host an 80 Years Celebration Party on Saturday, 3 October 2026, from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm at the Badminton Geelong Stadium.

The evening will feature dinner, non-alcoholic drinks and a chance for players, members, volunteers and supporters to come together and celebrate the club’s history. Guests are also encouraged to dress in a style from any of the past eight decades.

The celebrations will also include an exclusive tournament for Badminton Geelong Premium Members.

Tickets are priced at $40 for members, $25 for juniors and $50 for non-members. Guests are asked to RSVP by 26 September 2026.

The anniversary provides an opportunity to recognise the people and achievements that have contributed to Badminton Geelong’s growth over the past eight decades.
